The David Rumsey Map Center within the Stanford University library system is the premiere historical cartographic collection on the West Coast and holds one of the world’s great collections available for public research and global digital access. The collection numbers in the hundreds of thousands of digital and physical objects.

The DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library is a branch library under the university libraries dedicated to advance learning success with innovation, inquiry, and preserving Nevada history as a land grant institution. It is a large technology rich platform with materials and data service staff related to STEM disciplines, including a collection of online and in-person map collections:, Nevada and the Great Basin Map Collection, Mary Ansari Map Library, and the W. Keck Museum.
